JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- " V& O6 H& n( _( }' {! M
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
* u! J* z+ B, D' cSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
$ Y" `( @; V5 X& Wof Course Pack production.$ ~# j1 Z1 i1 u2 \# ~4 {9 ]( ~

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:! U7 b2 E/ ?8 S4 b; }' J6 ]
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
3 X9 x( q! j n4 oof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
; J/ X# G$ u! V( z# g$ _: F
k! c ?: w* r* M# s" @2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
/ o* c! G( ^/ {: ^3 \+ lprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

) r# I5 x Y8 L+ h3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of " o) e7 @& Q% Q% n. V
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and 0 V2 a( A: x8 w1 E+ ]6 H( w
keeping appropriate and accurate records., F2 O. g7 M/ k; }4 V
& z, H- {) p1 D0 J2 `4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 8 v: [; s; b3 h! _
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, : [ f4 |$ N6 X5 p/ l2 I
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:% O2 N* y( i% t3 @" T% d1 `( z1 R
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
3 L% u6 V- K: Q+ M/ R( R8 J2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication + g: |+ E: d% O$ |4 a( v& n, N
skills.; G# y ]& r( o1 \0 ~3 T0 ]
* R5 z+ }' `# C# O i) E
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.+ c* R! }+ U3 v% _- e
