I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply: $ R6 Y" x& s" H$ m! @2 F8 y6 U ^& L- X) x2 C6 f
"We have requested background information from other government$ j; D9 x( f- u
offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing& ~" e3 v; \; W+ n- T1 _! w: O2 p
of your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for0 i9 h7 N; Q8 q; }$ q7 e% N2 M) X/ J* _
the status of your application before this information is received."; O% Z* I. ~" g- `) g# }
3 n" b A4 s2 N1 o! B7 b- N# t y; J
Does this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
