OI sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply: 5 C _' M, {2 s' f# k- f S7 S 6 z5 n1 j2 _ g1 v* v" G* _"We have requested background information from other government# X2 K" V; U. C' _) P) T1 d% g
offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing : u, B6 \9 f+ }4 A8 K4 {of your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for( p% @0 ]+ R) `1 [6 V: z4 M/ i
the status of your application before this information is received."9 I. v7 Z/ V/ l% g. c2 p: g
& a4 E+ P' i( x1 k$ ?" D9 }1 e+ z6 }
Does this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
