JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

  d: X7 X3 `* i DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  E- k3 _, x# H+ l; n
' K/ _+ K" [* `9 ]2 O1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

! s# G3 P) `  J0 h$ ^) a3 `3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

# O; X. |8 i- d0 B6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ X2 q; X+ u/ h0 H1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

6 @- ]3 l% U0 c9 y+ }) t& _  n2 F2) Cashier experience.
& e- B* ^7 q( k* T4 F: u8 x
+ h# Z- {+ S' h+ L, B3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
& N5 L7 y- V3 Y9 e1 R
4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
