JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  R0 P8 M( F7 ^1 f1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

% b" y! B% |6 }2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
) w5 r. F. g  T4 g5 l! L5 |9 k
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

7 r0 t. |% O) V% Z8 A6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
9 c- e: V, D) m% u
# A* }( \. N0 M# P, X# E1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

( n: B2 [6 o9 }8 t& e8 ~/ H8 Q4 L# |4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

# K! w9 A, L6 M+ y. ^1 N5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
