JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 V) s' C' k) V' h- J# J! ^' r
4 ]5 O- D4 N- I+ O1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

% h$ q5 V; d" w; w' O/ K2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
/ T, J  ?$ L) s( z+ U7 \
) u- o" U6 Q' A& ]$ m$ R3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

6 J. G: j+ Y+ c0 N. @4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

: w& b/ i: j( h, H8 g2 w3 U" j6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
0 z  c$ U1 O( H, t
1 l- E( R) e/ g8 K1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
# j8 @1 ~7 _1 t' O" @
/ r; P+ l& M" l" o7 i+ y: ^2) Cashier experience.
/ x9 J$ A5 S! N8 ~2 B# S* q
: K$ f" q3 j; p8 P2 Y: W  }3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
