Programs/Services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups7 g% w: F- i2 o: F' z" y
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems., Z9 E* s2 Y7 s4 k: v
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications) {# b8 Y% P/ g
- University degree in a related field; # h/ U9 R: {0 E" }( l
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;" B |2 p6 m: E, v0 W$ Y1 P
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 0 C; N1 x x/ F& c$ ?) S) Y
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 6 O' k8 a# f: k

Salary
- b3 e# D' W, S/ f( G- M- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits ' q; ~* G1 F1 @+ t* r
