• provide leadership to staff and volunteers

• provide opportunities for staff development and growth

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

$ b, q4 L$ E. z, O9 j/ ]! `• identify community and user needs and trends
8 x" v7 t; z# ]9 q- t5 x& w• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

External Relations
* }* f6 K2 K3 I5 }• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
2 O3 |# _* ]5 u: ^8 r• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
7 o" g8 k4 j4 u1 a2 z• communicate the value of the organization to the public3 d7 b- o* h' _/ O% }
• identify community needs and trends
7 w3 X; d E5 H/ R• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
I4 a Q! X/ W, M1 @$ i# E+ a9 f• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups% X) C# R2 G8 `6 H2 m! f6 I q
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.
# w. H+ J9 b% Z U3 n• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff0 J' E8 {0 R V: g1 i5 Z. h3 f

- University degree in a related field;
9 k' G* H& L* X- w+ y- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
: t, F1 y3 t2 I/ Z1 M6 U- T4 h- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
% s9 M( `" T7 s% H( n$ P" f- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization + I2 r9 g+ t( z2 `: q
% d7 ]& ~0 q, l h) JSalary; r I" C1 ?! ]8 M. g, }: E
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits : I7 n+ a# }. c( `+ c7 [
