Senior Agency/Program Manager

• is accountable to the Board for the achievement of the agency’s vision mission and goals

• meet with staff on regular basis

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• ensure programs serve to enhance the coping capacities and well-being of people by removing inhumane systems or barriers and to empower people to work on positive changes in themselves and in others

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups

3 m. k7 {% }; u- b) K8 T: C• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.4 [+ c' j- V5 L7 T: z
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications8 r4 w, g3 p: N J0 b# B2 ?9 y
- University degree in a related field; 5 o& \. E7 u% M( b3 z1 |" `
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;2 P# Q! t* T$ d& ~7 a2 ?1 u! ?
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; % e, Z' y' p8 y4 X* B# ~
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
- L! P4 s* L a4 R5 b/ ~2 V6 j7 B# V1 w
Salary
$ @( O/ j" L% Q2 `+ p' \! ?- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
