The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University2 x( e }6 O* R! U$ S- \" m6 Z0 S8 F
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
+ d1 t4 c: @% B5 O# B eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
z# Q" u! s" i Z3 m7 G cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and. [/ w( g8 P9 L, K, J
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
# q) J% t# B, A0 e! a9 h this broad land.5 d; c" D5 n2 Y/ w# D/ c: b* R5 j' }
" c# J, P7 c# {& Y7 cWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to0 `3 H( u6 _9 f5 w8 P3 [" V7 u

talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in# L% U1 r- P$ z7 z D7 s# }
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show# o3 g K4 B$ E- x
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in7 D* V5 |. j" D$ G4 P

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs) |* {. P2 O0 y& z7 F5 P+ z
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),/ w5 W7 q6 y% V: B; p$ m
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any1 I( ^: d' l. l" v4 O U
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
; N! C! i! F0 ~: H4 g, a program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
: O g) E+ @5 P comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
/ u* y3 f9 L* P$ T9 H. f CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.6 }8 L8 g1 V# t p+ n8 ?3 F
