: s& Q! @. j1 P; t9 Z- L7 [+ V2 wCommunity Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:

Collect fee and admission charges.

Complete daily cash deposits.  x# N7 j4 m* H7 j! |' g8 `+ b

Handle customer inquires by phone and in person.4 {4 `9 q9 n. Q

Register patrons in programs.

Control admission to various areas of the facility.

Perform basic administrative duties including word processing, data entry and generating inventory reports.( [! _; J+ B7 z: o1 g( r0 m

Sell sundry items, prepare a daily deposit, keep daily attendance records and enter statistical data.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.+ Z5 g; j1 E: [# p+ K

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications.& k6 _) L! O$ v4 I, J

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.
; s0 f: Y- n. N3 t. RNote: A security clearance is a condition of employment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance letter from the Edmonton Police Department.

Up to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required." \% D1 i8 x" E' K+ b( z! y
Shifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

( N( b# ?0 s- A! Z* |8 P% z21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.! i( s. F- j2 ]! e  f
