烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

4 Q6 {& D7 {1 H9 c, @9 _) J• 1 cup sugar ' S$ x: R/ l, V" g1 J- Y
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
- k \* q* F I. m• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
! ]. Y4 @( H. ~( G4 M• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
! L1 i) W" U' jTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
8 {9 r# S8 V8 X. o- e8 {% kBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

' c2 V0 p, A, N) S1 k) Y# d+ v这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
# l9 Z8 M3 X6 f! u/ _$ sbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
