烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)

PREPARATION:
. E( i7 L' h, b: w6 ]Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. ) A6 {7 h: Z& z8 \1 E h: S) d; {
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
' ?, d& _* C, b2 f0 FBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered., o0 P. \6 j& D1 B0 k9 q
9 U. e6 T) T1 Q, o0 P- ]) F# X这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
L; A* ~+ c/ {6 R0 Xbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
