0 y+ `* S/ E2 W+ @9 y1 NBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. ' Z( |3 T; s/ f4 ?# _8 e
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. 7 t+ Q+ ]! ]1 p4 [/ M% U3 _, h; D
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.9 J9 t; i2 _9 T: p5 H1 e" H2 H
