ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with

$ @- N* O, V/ @1 \: D, u3 wQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
% c0 e7 `7 t+ Z( ]/ eobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
3 x  g) u7 {# Y3 l1 Srelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
7 r; z2 L% S% c! Nrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
* v: X) N6 v  I7 \5 e# Rcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
: }% T5 _" J2 i* g  sis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
, L# B# `$ l% Y3 u, N6 @* r$ D: Ethe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.
