University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of

technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with" {0 o2 [3 [) S
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
" [# U$ I4 h9 Y6 qobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
" ?- K v0 d' Xrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification3 w" m# E( Y) i* o
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is( h/ _ m2 B6 [
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
4 {& S7 t3 Z; D- I' K# vcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
5 s# }. ~; c! P7 {6 [ T* b1 eover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
, R/ D; \* g4 T' b* B& q( nis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with9 U' Y' x) |& {' A
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping, C4 _/ _, b3 {( W1 K+ F' t `
accurate and complete research records. ! v5 G8 Z" m' P
