ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
; @# N9 b4 X5 T2 {, _4 v1 Orecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
& Q/ C, f, t3 C- k# u. r7 E% b5 a- Wrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
  p/ z  V9 U/ P: A" x" {9 tcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
) z( {! x, E! R" [8 ]over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
. t& Z, N. Q" ?* ?$ jis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
" \+ ]1 h! r  F4 ^" C' nthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
