strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

" G" a1 Q" ?& V3 ]) b3 PQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
. G; v- N6 e& P+ [! tobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
+ J7 K* W! d) X6 ~related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
8 y5 E" M# L9 lrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
# ^# o$ d# I! |! |# D4 Wis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
# @8 j0 c* L4 q) m+ I9 {  Naccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
) R2 g) Z& g2 R7 M1 \/ {+ T; ssalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
