Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
7 M! y& @2 t8 o/ ]5 c- e- s$ fExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment., T2 @; C( U. w8 u9 g" ?
4 x, ]* k9 i! E7 y! Q
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. - E7 _+ d# u5 I O* K7 D6 L4 S

Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.
