Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. : b- ?1 A$ x; C; T3 C/ a" K" @

Skills and Abilities Required
( V( w! ^2 S, K% NExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
3 Z9 A' j0 ?) f& K) o% ~7 w& Q5 V" P7 ?9 c3 @% t1 }7 N
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

3 f4 v$ W! i. A* H+ bHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.
