The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run 9 n; ?2 w" s9 `1 {- z
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
% j6 o1 f9 r: t( F4 c/ ?" j6 xthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
& S: M. l$ v1 C8 k/ Fweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of , l) L% P3 y* e& ^( U/ {
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
( ]" E. i" x5 M5 ~$ Z1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
, {& V# J5 i6 k4 t1 D- U6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner 5 b& F$ v. y6 P* c
(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by ' i/ _# }5 _+ B0 P9 f& D0 V0 I
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult % j' O8 R" \" W. W. ?1 m
Canadians learn a second language.
