There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
4 N& E, t. C# N t. w% l6 V) \during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
. f- j5 n9 n9 E4 @) bthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
' A( N* X9 w. W* z8 Q/ A( cweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
8 X. O& N( k6 C4 ?, s5 c) eEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
0 U0 `4 _4 @; B4 o) D1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
4 |5 N: @1 a, ^7 G6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
+ D; l' g( E F1 ?' T! s$ _3 o(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by 1 l, f& L6 @6 `! p, `" x
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
! o# J' ]1 ~& \0 f+ hCanadians learn a second language.9 _ B# k; B! F9 v }( ?2 i7 s7 h

The CCI Program is open to citizens, residents & temporary Visa holders ! _2 ^8 ~. a' R7 T
(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday
d4 b. c3 e( x- J4 d4 V5 bthrough Friday, with an average class price of $300.00 (4 weeks). These & [. r3 ]. ]1 S( e# k# b
classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a . l" @# k- R" ]9 p
variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different
k7 k1 Z2 l* i) w/ Fdevelopmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and ! T% T- s; R/ F! x' f
Pre-TOEFL.

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -
& e, U O* k Z s' N, |no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 6 Y8 n. _7 c+ J* p* P8 x2 I/ g+ ~
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your 7 L7 |3 F$ g2 a) F. v
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
