There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous 0 W I8 {: @, Z3 n4 a: k3 K
enrolment and small class sizes.+ V/ c5 y2 H" n
2 H1 F3 o: u2 d2 A/ x4 ^: UThe LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run ( \1 |$ ^" p3 |) ]2 o: M
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
# \2 U0 c; l, [. W) P5 vthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 " E9 o2 e" J* E; R
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
5 v, @" U) H0 I) ]! F3 Z( |English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate 5 A+ _ F9 E( K& m! B# F1 K
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels ! w2 n) P" F6 y/ O" A6 r$ z
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
9 d! t, m: A! z& _) V4 s- a( J(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
. f' w" J A' c5 i2 [9 Gprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
* k" g, e0 p# ?( \1 gCanadians learn a second language.

(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday

classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a
( k0 h3 a" ^4 v+ p* kvariety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different ; T3 a# v; E7 Y2 @0 R
developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and
% M* ~ e+ z9 L0 k8 kPre-TOEFL.
