There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous 3 v5 y }% K6 ~8 y
enrolment and small class sizes.

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
! F% V/ V; P; Q7 c0 c1 \during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday - ( I; f# S- Q- D. c1 [
there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 & X; T+ R% l# `1 N0 I
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
' F8 ^' R5 `. b9 d: h3 bEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
$ b& j1 ]; F+ M3 X" ^8 o/ U0 ~1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels ( o, \: N0 F" z0 K2 N! c1 J# M
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
* i$ v8 C5 L. C# K) S(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
! A5 E% J {# [professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
# |" Q8 {1 X5 u; u3 j5 _2 _Canadians learn a second language.+ ]* l! r7 b% k; z/ x

5 y1 {# Q6 k! O- s+ T6 }7 b9 T/ ~In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -
/ `; S1 T- _: gno appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to

test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
