The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run 6 {! r. I+ l' B" R5 y$ ~" z
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
$ B& }! H H0 [+ ^' jthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
) z; @( S1 A# I- X- J9 Xweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of ( G$ u6 \- {5 _ j0 p/ L* t
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
( [4 j% I" _5 \0 o1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
g: ]! z. g9 f3 N) F6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
5 G, J7 Y) i$ \3 M9 ^(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by 1 y* F @6 V+ e8 y/ i
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult % _6 B+ L( V) q
Canadians learn a second language.
