EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。# [. Z6 d- T6 u5 `) {9 y. W

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for! `3 @+ F7 L5 a8 \
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.+ _8 g1 @4 ?2 B$ Q5 _( t2 ?

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials5 _7 F6 q. ~0 L+ F1 G9 g, Z3 f
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' |! C8 D i. F) W! {. u
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.% T; V1 @2 C0 J9 g) ?8 v( z
/ x+ H4 q* L. A% ]# CCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
