EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

* w) @4 `6 \# x' v) H3 e' D时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。& g1 [- L' Y' N9 g- Y* ^

报名方式:发邮件到officiating@edba.ab.ca 报名。另外,报名时注明你的姓名、电话、电邮地址,并特别问清楚培训的地点,因为原来的地址可能有变。他们收到你的邮件后就会给你发一封确认的邮件。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
8 ?# Q' l S5 @" a1 abecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

+ G8 ^: F3 S+ ~, q; z; M# u, FTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
5 P7 z2 o$ C9 z- i% G) Kof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 y3 z% O- f9 f: I
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
