EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for2 h0 a9 C/ w7 h8 A$ T
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.9 |7 l4 R; ]0 k% Y! k/ b2 x2 F1 n

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
4 G$ U; b% n9 N8 c( _ \of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
3 E& C3 f: ^" @certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
