Job Description

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community) A5 l, L/ ?6 ?0 F; o0 Q# d
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
, ~4 R/ V1 E" ^# J0 i- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services+ u& ?& D# P3 ^
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies7 w+ Z) e* Z$ r
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
# P! ~8 e0 F1 O+ ~8 q& o4 x- update ASSIST website$ w, j* k; e6 j
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre5 _# _, G$ a1 I! {9 _0 _* i
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services2 }% |8 g! w( {% }
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
$ Q2 S- T% _6 O( m6 E$ U6 ]- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time2 J$ r* r9 d3 T
- update membership database

Q/ [9 q1 j9 z- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
) A9 s9 L2 u+ F( o; g0 q- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
