- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.

- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team0 f; Z3 G/ j% m5 h& ^* S. V% p

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community8 M" c4 Q! E- z# i6 R3 E4 _
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
1 H7 Z4 ?5 @3 Q3 j- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
$ K' }5 g' ]4 t: \# B- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
3 F l# Q8 Z) j2 @- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
2 v3 B- v) r2 m2 P- update ASSIST website5 i, d4 `4 l( S% H1 v( D
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
* R" P; D0 q( c4 X- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services9 R3 |/ |! C2 p
- assist in writing proposal for ISP3 `, d; ]$ p% A; I- ~
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP- [9 Q- y0 O3 J
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
7 O% y! K2 ~% O, U- ]/ E: g) l- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 7 m4 _& x) M$ s8 r
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills& `& ~. T/ \9 |. v! F/ ~, [
- experience in community work and immigrant services* k) s) G S+ c0 e$ z
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset5 J7 W1 D4 C! `4 }) Q
