Job Description
; l' S. M; C6 ?3 E! j* V- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
$ ~. G6 G' @2 h- u( [- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
2 ]% X- c* K& ^; M& }- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

3 B: N5 c: y' [6 K! g! K2 ^- post secondary diploma
* y6 }+ T+ P% k7 ~( }- customer service and office clerical experiences
' ~& Y2 B( Q7 m+ h; B! l! N. Y/ D- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community, l1 m& d. g& _' h
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
% k. {: ~" e8 _- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
~& Z$ l+ t+ k0 H: i q- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
, s6 ? X5 }$ a& W- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members( v4 S! t% B+ b
- update ASSIST website
& [! {# s6 h2 I5 H2 T- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
, K: ]2 {/ t+ z- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
- z& R, `* [: w7 B8 k6 r W- assist in writing proposal for ISP
# l y, C/ p O- write quarterly and final reports for ISP' P* Z/ b3 Z0 N4 Z4 |4 b* C$ q
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- update membership database

Qualifications
# f T! p7 e' A: I7 [( C: c; b- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
4 l6 N+ e+ I2 y H) N- good oral and written Chinese and English skills, p3 t/ b7 J: A+ N* R$ k* G% U i
- experience in community work and immigrant services1 r" f( c* ~3 k! ~8 d$ L
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
- s" u1 j8 V1 `: Z. _% v- b0 x N5 a+ X2 v5 ^
