and Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry

Are you an immigrant woman who:
; E& c  K* E$ ?' t6 B
-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
4 J* ~, Q6 z* V$ X/ X6 SInformation about community agencies and services.
6 p+ f% W6 H0 ^# V. S/ k: Q- \. rInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
