Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
M" n. W. |, u8 Q1 q( N8 G& PResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
' ~9 G1 w6 x! qResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers- G0 v p$ K3 Z) P" e7 Y
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support" C/ b+ I. ?6 I6 k& _% \5 m# W
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff3 p& ^& Z3 t: X* t! S6 n; ]* `$ b
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
; O/ @% V. x3 c* j% o% z4 [Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Qualifications
+ F9 X1 [/ y9 ?- k3 J; q& g/ [1 J0 VTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program z0 z/ h$ Y$ ~/ z
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer; F4 w, J6 v: {+ S* ^. H; Z7 e
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
( {6 m+ A+ |; T( B9 e: K4 U* ~Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
