Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
) o' |" Y0 F1 y, F& TResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
! S6 x* I0 C5 t/ i! xEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
$ C9 P5 s1 @9 ?& `: _Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
, H+ ^6 ]7 I% n+ @Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
7 M5 a0 x- x6 t8 ?$ c6 M5 y  }. GTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
( H, h) o/ j* S% }- G; {. N6 _Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
! H4 {* k' W# i/ N- @Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
1 p9 _7 R- B5 y9 xStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
