Duties
/ {, x9 G: n& X0 B% K3 PWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
' ^) j! M0 E8 {5 E5 {Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
# C# A1 Z5 P7 |- Y* c; ~Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
$ U4 K# ^# O, }4 ^: {/ ?8 R' U  Y( {Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
5 S5 f4 p" t% G& [2 tEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
9 c% E5 a. S8 {3 pDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
6 [; h/ C6 |1 g' }' U% pRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
* y. Y% |0 x; j5 o; W; ^2 q5 v: VMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
