Duties
( g' I! _5 c5 T7 l* V9 UWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele m: _/ j$ a4 |: W6 a
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
8 ^' F4 D# z$ N$ e7 L' P8 WResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
9 ?# l$ e" D$ n+ sProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support+ R; B% P% b3 [& _2 m
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
) Q- _) d7 L. R" `& _* r1 ]Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
$ A" M/ A$ V% C- e) C. PDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
9 Q, q6 `: ]- B& `# E: QDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program1 ?; j3 A0 x3 C( ~& I3 X$ `5 R5 e2 t
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- k7 T0 u0 h$ i/ [! kMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations7 N! E) R0 _4 `3 E
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)- f/ Y, j$ T( u; f
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills1 u2 A8 P [0 B1 ^$ n
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
