Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
. W# {  l: j( x8 I$ A7 VResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
! j% C: ~  `# C3 E# ]Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
& J# u; ^1 ~9 c& GWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
( W5 t7 b$ x$ `% h6 O& X/ lEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
( [2 ^8 j$ i: u4 I! ?# h$ ?8 kDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
& y3 ~. I+ T/ fDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- ?- h: z+ u8 r7 v7 tDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
- N" `/ e8 S: T/ V+ ^' WRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
& S2 h% I6 z3 e' u5 L) q2 {Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
