Interior Designer

PURPOSE:

Coordinates and implements detailed space plans to address customer space

to the Supervisor, Interior Design or the furniture leader in those divisions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

measure layout.
- x3 d. l2 S0 v" {7 q2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,. Q8 ?% s7 w9 u1 E/ K8 E
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built h7 F% ]2 u6 Y( T$ T7 u' x
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for

3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning/ s! D i) e; j/ D5 @, h1 u
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these! I8 Q% H: T/ v

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
/ u! j$ Z& O/ `) l+ c+ froutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
! {/ R5 Z+ F( T3 i& j2 n% g5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction

site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence+ e1 U/ X& E) F1 T) Z

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect/ R+ K1 P- B. A% h& r1 p2 L7 f. `, a

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,) c) L5 i5 H8 p, p$ u. T
assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes' l6 l" V# `/ D! U- O4 }$ [4 T1 Q
and revisions.
4 }: q+ y J! T8 d7 O8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a

experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general, H2 j% M. n, ?
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.9 y6 N; H& S4 V2 q
