DESCRIPTION:

1 K5 }- }! j( h+ S3 E/ YGrandin out of School Care and Daycare is registered as a non-profit corporation.  Grandin has both a Daycare and Out of School Care in a shared building facility located at Grandin School.  September 1, 2008 we will become an After School Care Program exclusively.  

' a4 y" S3 a" M+ YThe Grandin Out of School Care Board of Directors is inviting applications for the temporary position of child care worker to start as soon as possible.  This is a full time summer temporary position with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position.  This position involves working directly with the care, programming, implementation of programming of school age children on site and on field trips off site.

QUALIFICATIONS:
% P0 x& c/ |3 T6 a7 U        Commitment to the ideals expressed in the Grandin Daycare mission statement and a desire to work together with sponsoring bodies:  Catholic School Board, Grandin Administration, Grandin OSC Board of Directors, Staff and Parents.
        Level 1, 2 or 3 childcare certification or equivalent education

% ~  y* S  D; s0 g! `        Responsible, ethical, good communication skills with parents and staff

RESPONSIBILITIES:

         Supervision of school age children in a summer Out of school care program in accordance with the city of Edmonton and province of Alberta licensing regulations and standards
