* Provides routine technical and administrative support for sample preparations and mineral separation for isotopic analysis- q2 h0 ?1 ^4 K s! x
* Conducts mineral separation, sample imaging, grant mount preparation, sample weighing and iron exchange chromatography! a4 \: S& v7 k% m. s. f
* Provides training to graduate students, visiting scientists on preparation techniques' \( O( x1 r1 K3 }$ l+ Q9 l5 T
* Compiles analytical data using standard office software such as Excel, Word and Corel for use by the PI or client
! v: b. \% L) {$ ~; C9 A% i * Performs routine maintenance on equipment and lab husbandry
* t! [# ?+ U7 I5 Y8 S, F+ P * Orders supplies, maintains lab records, maintain WHMIS records and compliance labeling, maintains lab inventory and safe disposal of chemicals

* Provides administrative support by maintaining records, (usage and expenses) and prepares invoices

* Post Secondary diploma in laboratory technology, Chemistry or Earth Sciences; BSc in Geology or Chemistry preferred* w; z5 q+ W! p; {) A* W
* 1-2 years experience working in a research environment (analytical chemistry lab or geochemical lab)
