EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning. ]4 h- i8 P$ S2 l4 ]
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.$ m5 T. Q0 @; {! W+ B3 n
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.2 H+ V! j: u: w8 {+ X
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.3 Q+ W. I# e% w# R- y8 c5 e! L
