Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.. \8 J" a% z7 S2 @& o- I6 l
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
" {! p8 [4 `0 x% E0 ^! `Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.$ t5 X6 u! M% v
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.! @7 _! Q5 V F- w; I/ \" p
