. `0 X/ b- p) S! R: u6 Y! h    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
  H) C1 O8 q- x* q8 e# t, @" }    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
3 Q1 A1 ^$ }/ h6 t* Z) j5 F$ h    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
8 l$ x" n) Q% r6 g2 w: \8 I! b1 l    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
: s; T# {% l" m6 ^: r; U    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications

    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
8 l0 L+ K4 F: ?2 a2 |+ K% E5 E    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
" s7 G& m/ v5 z+ X  Q    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
: I7 o1 m. d/ E4 g( h  z/ }8 K    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
