: ^& c- n% U$ @0 w    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
' k3 _8 o8 a; ~9 j    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
& e5 r6 i" ]/ n$ Y; [2 k5 c    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
# ~' Y, l5 D) L: Q    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
$ r3 r' x4 E5 |8 m" b, d2 N! ^    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
; J: z9 W: {+ F4 o    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
$ J: T6 m) P0 e7 I    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
1 B9 _, G; z) Y! [5 y; L    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

- U7 Z; R* @7 {; E/ `7 h9 k
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
) i: }: W$ B/ A  @( |+ b- U# s' z5 X    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
+ C# F& q& k  e: M( w) z    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
5 r+ m/ t, {' e! a- h$ h) w$ F    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
3 X/ D  R' u0 l    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
0 n$ Q3 E9 _5 j; B$ m3 d    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
