2 n+ e( f+ {& m( o  u    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
/ G, o  d3 \6 q; P5 V    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director

* |& X( l6 ?* o: T1 V8 J    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
. a! U1 a9 ^( O! V6 }/ ?- b    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
5 ]+ q1 B8 ~2 F( J  j+ _0 D2 ]    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
1 H+ c$ r/ {# i. N  k/ I7 T
, i- k, q: T2 y    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
# b1 ~) M; U; v9 |/ b    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
4 e. X+ [/ V3 T    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
4 N3 v0 ?  K2 M    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
, w  I2 u2 a9 Z2 b5 T+ H# [4 m. k  V+ O    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
