Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 9 c- L1 y+ r9 g1 T% |6 r5 I' w. [4 c
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. H5 E9 s$ `/ P
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 ?9 e* `" `+ l$ N
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
M% j* y% D$ j* u/ [9 R2 r• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.9 L- N0 W: ?5 O5 w$ x/ q
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.6 w/ H& d! e2 O* Q5 x
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
. O# Y% e1 G0 ^3 c: x• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
5 V+ x7 g: z! q ^• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.! N8 \: p; |9 U/ _/ D% \0 A3 S5 ~
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- ^) a H- \/ Q. o( n
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( K; ?$ ]5 g! a• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" T! [) a2 d' ?9 |4 w8 x3 n. a• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
) G* W$ k6 D* [( H8 K$ @• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. o) P$ [( w3 [. ~+ \# O
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# W" s! _: V4 T3 S• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
- g( U2 J4 o. l0 b9 X. r) V• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' h4 [3 M2 A0 Y) f4 u& c. J0 l• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
, V) r5 D2 T/ R, O3 d" K. _/ A3 K• Not scared of heights- q( X3 u, p. i" @1 ?
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
