Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

, F5 D5 J; t, rMajor Responsibilities: ( s9 M3 H+ [) H' {" Q+ f) {
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.  U% Z1 {' |1 C- Y
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 r! x! G5 x3 z" b: S: f•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
* K# }# |$ E! j9 U5 R•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.' t. Y8 R- u" D$ v8 n
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) a8 ]8 |& K3 h3 V* ]4 h
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.5 {* W) ?; }3 \- \( r* v) O; ?
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& W& P/ [7 L5 ~6 A2 J
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.$ P; e$ L% q" L6 S
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
8 k3 q- {9 E- f9 }. L•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
$ G& }7 l  ]. v, ^/ D8 `- x# }3 ^•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 Z2 E; j8 P1 `1 g1 ]% Y' g" _•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
* y4 }/ F/ I- R9 Z9 Q•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
' B0 H$ W, y7 W* n4 k1 P2 S$ W- O2 ~•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
* O5 w1 q; i' t•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % U, `6 l$ B6 ^. V7 v* F! i+ V
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' ^" f! [; e& j! R•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ; u/ V: |1 K8 @
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
