Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 |1 w- f2 i$ r/ i
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
" q1 ^+ Y2 P2 v# J/ y/ e• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. $ |( G. e, y m
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.- ]- I* B% ?* d+ F
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.; _; y+ G3 G1 h) F1 r4 a* `
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.; m" Y0 j. L" X% |
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
* A' y* ?1 }( J& L• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
# m L6 }7 n) `( P& u• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.3 }8 m+ |" S/ a- L: l M
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. u9 o! c0 q. u. A+ {1 P• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.$ g7 O- J. i" N& n' {2 _
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; [4 ~$ k; |: I& A• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: w/ }$ c }; ~* C+ h
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.6 z7 @; }4 a2 U' v" c
4 z ^# G% ~& l" x) @: n9 RQualifications:
0 I# N+ [0 f7 P• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. + x1 x) v3 {8 s4 I0 \* n2 g7 n* ?
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, T; {; Z5 ~' T5 O) G G• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
! ]& ]7 l" L) ]- w) }• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. - Q/ n4 W, L' z U" |7 ^
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
+ H X6 W# |, s+ y! {6 ?2 ^• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
