Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant; G  z- w6 C( R3 I  O' L* \

Major Responsibilities:
2 y- H1 p  r0 q2 ]- d•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ S' I- @) D0 q2 H/ D8 N•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ Y7 _( |2 {7 x7 b- U: w8 N•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  % Y( o- l2 f% ?
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
. E2 K! `2 e  Z. R3 _" b, @•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
% X3 [0 H; @. a, Z" K•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
, v; }7 @$ R: i6 t$ Y- }2 B$ `; Q•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ F3 C2 Z" v* X3 f$ r  P9 G•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive./ j  V, k8 `; ^* M1 B
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
6 Y9 G4 p' z3 f4 q: {. y•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- I, f9 P! f& l, z' U& K6 h
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.4 ?+ v' K1 q6 }9 c7 }
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
3 e% `  G. \6 a+ D9 Z, ]8 v" v7 i•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

4 [% F2 b1 M, b$ V4 ]•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
! @5 s; L7 J; v' Y•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
! p3 Z# s8 ]  k0 j! ?$ V•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; J. u9 u0 r  T4 E2 |
