爱民屯警察真在调查周日（九月21日）清晨发生的两起杀人事件，这分别是咱屯本年度发生的第20和21起谋杀案。

第一起事件发生于whitemud drive附近，一位30岁的男子死于枪击，警察称之为黑帮火并。

大约山地时间清晨2:20左右，警察接到报警电话，在whitemud drive,170street附近，一辆银色Infiniti正遭到枪击。

轿车驾驶员当场死亡。

枪击案发生的真正原因仍在调查之中，但是警察相信这起事件不是无目的的枪击案，它很可能与黑帮有关。

目前尚未发现嫌疑人，也没有人被拘捕。

一男性遇刺身亡

几乎在与上一枪击案发生的同时，一位男性遇刺身亡，而其他几位则被警察拘捕。据爱民屯警察新闻发布会透露，事情起因于两个帮派在后院小道上的争吵。

Edmonton police are investigating two killings from early Sunday morning, the city's 20th and 21st homicides of the year.

In the first incident, a 30-year-old man is dead in what police are calling a "gang motivated" shooting near Whitemud Drive, the Edmonton Police Service said in a press release.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, but police believe the incident is not random and is likely gang-related.

* U8 V6 K# L" e0 r% p7 zMeanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.

! `0 w; f1 o+ b- [" n) y6 jAt approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.
; ^! v0 j- G( Y. [
4 T) M# L( z& K; P' S2 |& t. eUpon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.

He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

) @+ R+ v" c$ W2 M% w5 H/ cA police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.

The three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.

Police said the individuals are not known to each other and the incident does not appear to be gang- or drug-related.
