8 h3 {; q6 z3 SJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
: k3 J7 H# m3 S) a/ R  H$ ~, t•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
8 F! c0 Q2 D2 z+ |; e6 ]. D•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
- @9 }0 s* F! Q/ n•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 y. s; l) G8 o) U/ v# a•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
9 f+ W3 N. |9 g" c•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
: e# w1 q( F0 @/ H6 a& @•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
$ H  i+ ^2 k) ?•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
& f( t2 P) {" y9 F: f•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
