Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
8 v0 e7 d0 M! R$ ~; M$ s0 P; f•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
5 d2 Z/ i1 D, ]7 D6 O4 Z•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' x5 C- m- ]$ I* ^* W•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
7 v, J  t" r+ B  r•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
6 g7 `: e- S) G- ~! f4 G. N- e•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

" ?( ?. O  T' bQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
+ z' u' i' i- \8 |  C# H•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 c' ~7 w2 m+ n! O- v% }& g•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
* P' D6 I- n4 w& I. Y% R•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
% Q% A- y9 B3 w8 I2 o- {•        willingness to learn
