Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager

Job Description – Responsibilities
$ ~, @- @- ?8 |+ Z- W9 a•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
) s' k$ X& ?, A5 o# D•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
1 X, w, }3 d, s: i4 A& ~•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
3 H- ]( X& x6 `•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
8 n" Q, b& J( M6 x•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
! k5 L" Z1 f& ]' u•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
  A3 V( ^. I1 k•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
$ N0 \3 }: r2 \( v; @& ~, C•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
3 `& t  m$ `% `3 M. [, C•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
