Position: Youth Services Manager
$ Y% Y8 E& I) EFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
; X* o: B( B- H' k•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
9 ?7 i% q& K- ]. g: V2 `# F•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
# U9 P8 ?# }4 N7 q$ q•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
0 T; o' Y) q" `0 D•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
6 a- c' ]$ x# y! b8 h2 O7 H& n•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
. L( ?% B+ l0 C5 C•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
$ Q  C0 L. ]- b% }5 G; t•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
* t; ?$ n" z3 A. H& F5 g6 X•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
) X( y: w! y! ?& p" l•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
! [  Y3 O+ p+ d+ c% S4 ]2 ]; r1 v•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
