Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
. Z3 ~% X6 ~! Q8 `; i% }& h- C•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
8 h; g- O% Q4 U& k9 @+ U  X•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
3 B, _& M! Y+ {1 C" k8 a+ ]: v•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
. v1 Q! X' F, D- `$ |1 A3 U•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
6 _$ D( H* w0 U2 e! i•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

& L7 p; v  {, l; x" L* r1 bQualifications
5 Q3 }& p- s) D0 k/ }  V•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
0 g* E, P0 H% ]•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
; W# r8 k0 W, q) r6 @* A•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
( D& p" q7 V1 q' F% L' f( @•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
