1 f, `8 n8 x- R5 Z) vFull time position (35 hours each week)

2 B3 h" R5 i8 @' ]  b( p8 B2 r5 U# f( ~1 UJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
2 E1 O9 ?2 r! d) n/ \•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
+ G8 E/ L- S) S. u' p0 z•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! b' q: r& t* o  P8 W* A•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
) @( y) `, F* t" ?0 W9 J•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

' y1 T3 a+ u4 K6 k9 L# {# XQualifications
0 K  t- H$ C% m* l•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
2 A5 ?, d& p# f& X1 X•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
# V$ x, v% J! W/ `! w" L•        willingness to learn
