I have an immediate need for a Java Engineer in Calgary, AB. Our client is a mobile location based services company and a growing leader in the industry. I have a brief description of the position below. This position will be initially a 3 month contract, with possible extension or conversion to permanent employee. 2 v- }7 x$ m7 g: X5 S) ]6 W
The Java Engineer will work with carrier grade platforms for solutions to wireless carriers. The ideal candidate will have 5 yrs of object oriented software experience, including SOA, ESB, mobile applications and web development exp., with 3 yrs experience in a J2EE environment, 5 yrs Java, 5 yrs programming db backends (Oracle/MySQL), 3 yrs with Spring, Hibernate, Struts or JSF, Javascript or JSPs, HTML, XML, SMS, MMS, WAP. Any experience with GPS tracking, etc., is a bonus. : @8 J& g4 t. A; D) X( \- f6 A! z
