原油价格不低于40美元，油砂项目就还有利润空间，就看哪家公司有实力能微利经营将这段时间挺过去，完成自己的项目，甚至于收购他人的项目。世界几大石油公司的发家史就是靠这种手段实现的垄断史。但对于靠石油产业生活的人们，包括工程公司，设计公司肯定会受到一定的冲击，但愿所以华人能够躲过这一波。个人观点。

主营油砂的大公司都能挺过这个关卡，毕竟都有雄厚资本甚至政府支持，不过外围企业就困难了。

& Z2 y  u& G" t) k8 M# n# zPersonally, I agree that oil companies - ambitious Mobile and Husky, may revise their plans according to the market, but so far they have not yet changed their minds. These two projects have processed procurement (tendering) in the early Summer, 2008.


3 v  t- U: X0 {1 H8 M; T" p, aOil breakeven price of Canadian oil sands projects is $33/barrel (in average. 2nd quater, 2008).

Don't worry. Most immigrants like me from China have tided over their tough time in Canada. Life is getting better.
