Their food is prepared by student at in house Culunery Dept ( student learn to cook ), under the supervision of instructor, practice various recipe according to the course, the result should be the same when compare with any other restaurant.
The reason of lower price than outside NAIT is -- they don't have to pay high advertisment, rent and wages, nor the huge amount of money invest to operate and run a restaurant, also they have steady customer of at least 1000 student everyday from Monday to friday, while most restaurant  are busy on weekend, 1/2 full on weekdays.
; I0 x' v# c5 n( J1 y8 qThe cafeteria is under funding from NAIT, therefore even selling at 20% below market prise can easily achieve reasonable profit  margin.
