If you dont care if it's purebred or not, you can adopt one from SPCA, Petcetera, or Petsmart, where they have new-born or very young puppies occasionally, and adult dogs anytime. Otherwise, you are recommended to find a responsible breeder in the adjacent area, which is more reliable than buying from kijiji or other personals. The price will be of just a little bit different or even the same.
