8065-104 Street, Shoppers Drug Mart now offering opportunities to candidates interested in pursuing a career as managers. Training is provided. We select only the top candidates and those with exceptional skills have the opportunity to advance as store managers and to work in a variety of locations throughout Canada.

Criteria for selection for Cash Managers (Wage $14+):

) O+ n" p. d3 @3 P1) Highly motivated and self-directed learners
2 j5 X' g9 I) E2) Able to interact well with staff and work in teams
3) Excellent with mathematics
. f; F* Z* ?5 U$ u) k2 G: r4) Proficient in computers.
5) Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Criteria for selection for Assistant Front Store Managers (Wage $18+):

9 i# j, [! r& m. x  l1) Highly motivated and self-directed learners
2) Ability to work in a fast pace and to multitask
* a' Z5 e8 W4 n% r% O9 ?" H# [3) Able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
( o) R; w( ^( H6 v7 j+ i. G- E4) Well-organized & focused
5) Able to assign tasks and lead work groups.
4 j0 n  }  ]. d, q6) Proficiency in computers.
3 p6 D3 a4 ?, J9 c7) Work well with other staff and in teams.
8) Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES MAY BE SELECTED TO PURSUE THE SHOPPERS DRUG MART LEAD PROGRAM FOR FRONT STORE MANAGERS AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN OTHER LOCATIONS IN EDMONTON.

; }9 F5 ]4 s, c7 g& ]ALL CANDIDATES START AS CASHIER/MERCHANDISER AT $10 AN HOUR. WE REVIEW CANDIDATE'S PROGRESS WITHIN 30 DAYS.

Individuals who do not have the ability/skill to become managers may be offered continued position as a staff member if positions are available. All candidates must undergo 90-day probationary period in which they are subject to periodic review of their performance/progress.

Past management experience is not a guarantee that the candidate will meet our criteria.
