The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

8 p% u7 o% o% G& y y* p6 B4 \That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw ) z. o2 L1 z& |5 M- `% g
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw

% L8 A. [% {! f2 T& H0 \Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club - L$ E+ n# M+ |; j
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
