! q- ] T0 ~1 y6 C' G# D) hThe City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

9 C" c2 U: W1 e- p* j; f% i; pThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw & b* y. R% ?: J3 Q' e: n* b. D# ]$ B
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw 6 Y! t7 K8 ?* o! B3 d, _$ o, j
That has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
) A- o- k" j$ y/ c4 y2 G) ]" U) @0 JCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
H+ t; s# M3 t( M8 R9 CCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
4 w" ]9 G6 i% y( O+ JNote: The restricted dog definition does NOT include any dog that is registered, or eligible for registration, with the Canadian Kennel Club as a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. |
