The whole COMPLAIN day in FM....pay attention to each penny !!

ISSUE ONE: CRA........."WAIT"

In the early morning,phone CRA to ask "whether university health insurance charge to international student can be counted as expense ?" .THE receiver told me "WAIT,call this number:1-800-959-8281"..Then i phoned it.They took more than 10 minutes to discuss my question,said:"WAIT,this number may help:1-800-267-5177".Then i jumped to another number again.I want to confirm my new address here,they said"why not confirm from the tax center?" i said there is no contact method online(St John's).They said"WAIT"Then came back without any phone number:"it took couples of days.You may check two or three weeks later."I got shock"i mailed them last week."Still the word:"WAIT"............................: D: a4 P4 p3 d/ N* Q) l

OK,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,WAIT....................

ISSUE TWO:FIDO.......
, t6 H8 `9 y0 A
) \- H0 A1 O4 yIt is a serious problem that what their customer services said are not the same.Once i moved in and needed to change a new number,they said"NO CHARGE".How ever,i was so angry that "THEY CHARGED ON MY BILL".i phoned them and they modified.MY GOD.
" N& D8 M$ F& _( E- t, i
4 w  l- u# O$ d. _4 n2 s- _Still now.some customer services said:I am using Edmonton service.But some said i am using Fort Mcmurray.Actually ,before getting the BILL,they did not tell me the fact that there is NO FIDO network provided here.So there is no point that i can benefits from the unlimitted incoming here unless i pay extra fee to enter the ROGER net work.MY GOD.I WILL NEVER TRUST FIDO ANYMORE.  y, b8 P. Q3 T% J! H

ISSUE THREE:UPS

1 v4 y4 z" R* J  Z2 n4 H1 [TODAY I WAIT AT HOME FROM early 9:00 am till 8:00pm for my package delivery fromUPS.However,there is no news from them.This is the reason why i cannot go to BIBIL STUDY.This is the second time i wait for the whole day.
' L+ g5 O# D7 L
! ?  a7 C0 D" V0 hLast week:They phoned me and said"The service hour is 9am to 5pm."Then i waited till almost 5:15pm.Then ran to find friends upstairs,however i got a notice at 6pm when i was back.WHAT THE HELL!I phoned UPS,they said"WE OFFICIALLY WORK TILL 8pm"OK......

# d1 I* P3 n' x6 R8 L* t& C/ |  vTODAY,i wait for the whole day and even phone them at 7pm.Let us see what their explaination:+ O. b- K* _- d

( F; z& O, s5 ]at 7pm,a customer representative said:YOUR PACKAGE HAS SCANNED AND ON THE WAY....................SO where is it????????????PLease be honest!!!!!

3 a# M9 n) c" y8 Oat 8pm,i did not receive anything.They told me:SORRY.WE RESCHEDULED.BUT THEY DID NOT REPLY.I was extremely angry " i checked the package from UPS,i do not care your internal issue.UPS needs to take responsibility.I need to talk with supervisor!" They are a little more serious.EVEN IF THEY TOOK MY PHONES AND GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME ON MONDAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.i am really disappointed..................cannot wait crying.

ISSUE FOUR:BMO
9 y4 Q- L' o* [( r. q
  K- W: v$ `& |- ^9 g' L1 r5 LBMO is the sad ending for today.They charge me 25 dollars for my statement  balance  is more than  my credit limit on Feb.18th.I  REALLY did not know there is such a rule on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Another surprising part is ,i asked "IS 18th the specific date to check the statement balance?" He said"WAIT " and YES in couples of minutes.COOL.i learn so many things new in the whole day!!!!

HOPE EVERYone can save each penny in the dangerous society............MY GOD!

UPS and Purolator

我從Florida搬來的時候,也是用UPS。$ g) m9 X: M8 }. K% \2 h+ L
所有UPS的良好時間規定,在這邊都不管用。; m7 r  t. n) s' [$ _0 Y! B
因為UPS在這邊是subcontract to purolator (不知道有沒有拼錯!)( e$ N7 S% R8 X' x9 f6 ]
剛搬來的時候天天在家裡查行李狀況,等行李,結果等了幾天,也沒有人過來。所以打電話給UPS,結果UPS總說不清楚狀況。明明東西就是在Ft Mcmurray,還可以跟我講在Edmonton or其他的答案!
. T! W2 w& U: D3 T, n* S1 k4 h: E也有請UPS再遞送一次。UPS理論上就請Purolator再遞送一次!" Z& \+ x5 T$ k+ d5 e
再等一週,結果還是沒有事情發生。剛來時,根本也不知道什麼purolator) `2 ?3 V9 U* ]( m$ K( f, W+ g
後來是問了另外一家快遞公司,才知道UPS在這邊subcontract給purolator
% Y% F' D0 p/ M0 n有一天上班的時候,剛好看到purolator的卡車,就在那邊等driver問狀況
/ V7 O* d/ s( w% C9 mDriver說他們身上沒有電話的,所以你一定要在家等。他叫我最快的方式是自己過去他們公司拿。我有15箱東西,我自己根本搬不動。但是後來發現UPS跟本無法讓purolator再送我的東西到我家。
: d+ `. t- z% U3 h* P5 k4 T& R- ~1 p' o* T; Q
最後我自己去他們公司搬了兩、三箱。看到很多箱子的狀況都是很慘烈,裡面的東西也是!
' `/ p4 A" u2 b8 d(箱子是跟UPS買的喔!) 然後讓同事開著公司的truck再繼續把我所有的東西搬回來。
7 O' @5 q: z! V+ ?3 ^. `再剛來的時候發生這種事情真的是夢魘。因為想要找人幫忙也找不到人?
8 i: t  G7 v+ [6 H3 T" g3 ~1 ?3 o) i* G7 F$ @9 v
在那時候我瞭解到一件事情
9 h/ X9 j" j7 C( ~: S6 q+ L就是這邊的郵寄服務是一個nightmare6 Y/ E9 L+ B* b
這件事情,應該大家都有經驗吧!
6 A: z2 o" n* _對我來說,這是在Ft. Mcmurray最不好的經驗了!
% r6 m5 z: C1 ~不過,話說回來,之後寄東西或是收東西,我就也習慣東西會晚到,所以也就是等!
, s  E$ d! w. v% S+ F' Y日子總是要過的嘛!天天哭也是過日子,天天笑也是在過日子。7 L% c- z1 Z* V! K& v
所以我還是選擇天天笑的過日子好了! 4 @# o4 w1 O! j) j2 B" J6 M# h
) [' S6 a5 |! b$ I
但是我還蠻想要問問,如果要寄東西,哪裡的服務會比較ok?

在网上购物后,隔天查电子邮件order就被取消了,因为是FM没有办法delivery。。。

Call UPS customer service and ask for compensation,  you may get some of your shipping fee back.4 c( M) V# o0 w8 i, w0 u# X
Last year I ordered a set of winter tires from the US and used Fedex to ship them, it costed more than $300USD, the shipment was delayed for more than a week, so I called Fedex and complained, they explained that Fort McMurray is a "remote area" and blah blah blah. But they finally agreed to give me full refund for the shipping fee. Saved $300.:)

忐忑不安的等待着nightmare coming。。。等UPS送笔记本电脑ing7 t$ L- j  ~, Z3 Q, V, M) t
' S/ f5 p9 F# A7 q! c
不过上次在dell网购后,purolator的delivery还可以,没有耽误。
