The whole COMPLAIN day in FM....pay attention to each penny !!

ISSUE ONE: CRA........."WAIT"0 N8 P6 g! R. I# ~  Q/ H
3 f$ _+ C5 R' s+ t* u5 }
In the early morning,phone CRA to ask "whether university health insurance charge to international student can be counted as expense ?" .THE receiver told me "WAIT,call this number:1-800-959-8281"..Then i phoned it.They took more than 10 minutes to discuss my question,said:"WAIT,this number may help:1-800-267-5177".Then i jumped to another number again.I want to confirm my new address here,they said"why not confirm from the tax center?" i said there is no contact method online(St John's).They said"WAIT"Then came back without any phone number:"it took couples of days.You may check two or three weeks later."I got shock"i mailed them last week."Still the word:"WAIT"............................

It is a serious problem that what their customer services said are not the same.Once i moved in and needed to change a new number,they said"NO CHARGE".How ever,i was so angry that "THEY CHARGED ON MY BILL".i phoned them and they modified.MY GOD./ B" T, Q$ Z, |+ ?0 R
( H; {# ~, G/ _; C1 ]  x; R
Still now.some customer services said:I am using Edmonton service.But some said i am using Fort Mcmurray.Actually ,before getting the BILL,they did not tell me the fact that there is NO FIDO network provided here.So there is no point that i can benefits from the unlimitted incoming here unless i pay extra fee to enter the ROGER net work.MY GOD.I WILL NEVER TRUST FIDO ANYMORE.5 i8 j( ^9 n/ {2 Q- V$ B: ?

3 Z% h7 v) s2 R- _BE CAREFUL AT EACH PAYMENT FOR CELLPHONES.& U8 s# u6 ?2 h0 H( @

8 I1 b4 N& X* q6 LISSUE THREE:UPS% G9 c0 c' |% L" _% {

0 T- a* d- b3 S2 jTODAY I WAIT AT HOME FROM early 9:00 am till 8:00pm for my package delivery fromUPS.However,there is no news from them.This is the reason why i cannot go to BIBIL STUDY.This is the second time i wait for the whole day.. C' C" ^& y: L' @6 ~+ o% D; R

7 m$ C1 B. ~$ \: c9 gLast week:They phoned me and said"The service hour is 9am to 5pm."Then i waited till almost 5:15pm.Then ran to find friends upstairs,however i got a notice at 6pm when i was back.WHAT THE HELL!I phoned UPS,they said"WE OFFICIALLY WORK TILL 8pm"OK......

( v( ?/ V' H1 |0 o. RTODAY,i wait for the whole day and even phone them at 7pm.Let us see what their explaination:* Q! b1 D' J* _% M1 C( H1 B
$ M3 l+ |) T' F, w' x; p
at 7pm,a customer representative said:YOUR PACKAGE HAS SCANNED AND ON THE WAY....................SO where is it????????????PLease be honest!!!!!

at 8pm,i did not receive anything.They told me:SORRY.WE RESCHEDULED.BUT THEY DID NOT REPLY.I was extremely angry " i checked the package from UPS,i do not care your internal issue.UPS needs to take responsibility.I need to talk with supervisor!" They are a little more serious.EVEN IF THEY TOOK MY PHONES AND GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME ON MONDAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.i am really disappointed..................cannot wait crying.3 o! v0 d( I# n, U3 S

ISSUE FOUR:BMO6 e9 K! C; n# M* w) a3 J
+ _9 j( _$ Q6 [. k, T7 D! ?
BMO is the sad ending for today.They charge me 25 dollars for my statement  balance  is more than  my credit limit on Feb.18th.I  REALLY did not know there is such a rule on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Another surprising part is ,i asked "IS 18th the specific date to check the statement balance?" He said"WAIT " and YES in couples of minutes.COOL.i learn so many things new in the whole day!!!!

I really learn so much NEW today...................

UPS and Purolator

我從Florida搬來的時候,也是用UPS。, p; u- t7 p) Q
所有UPS的良好時間規定,在這邊都不管用。+ J+ d$ G. T7 l4 W
因為UPS在這邊是subcontract to purolator (不知道有沒有拼錯!)- |$ h$ J& y/ D* ~8 O" J" W
剛搬來的時候天天在家裡查行李狀況,等行李,結果等了幾天,也沒有人過來。所以打電話給UPS,結果UPS總說不清楚狀況。明明東西就是在Ft Mcmurray,還可以跟我講在Edmonton or其他的答案!, x% v; P2 v8 K5 b: W7 p
也有請UPS再遞送一次。UPS理論上就請Purolator再遞送一次!
- n( ]% s+ k0 F; S4 e5 F: k) W再等一週,結果還是沒有事情發生。剛來時,根本也不知道什麼purolator. S9 q- e7 A  K, Q* @# x+ i
後來是問了另外一家快遞公司,才知道UPS在這邊subcontract給purolator
: n0 m7 c% k! G0 ?- z$ X) A有一天上班的時候,剛好看到purolator的卡車,就在那邊等driver問狀況. W* z) b' k  e% [7 E
Driver說他們身上沒有電話的,所以你一定要在家等。他叫我最快的方式是自己過去他們公司拿。我有15箱東西,我自己根本搬不動。但是後來發現UPS跟本無法讓purolator再送我的東西到我家。
# x4 I2 x' F, d, p9 O: G2 A
" v- n7 u9 M3 T% W最後我自己去他們公司搬了兩、三箱。看到很多箱子的狀況都是很慘烈,裡面的東西也是!
* f+ y. X+ ~+ y(箱子是跟UPS買的喔!) 然後讓同事開著公司的truck再繼續把我所有的東西搬回來。
* D2 T$ b4 Y: K! `9 ~' ]再剛來的時候發生這種事情真的是夢魘。因為想要找人幫忙也找不到人?1 I5 n" z9 o* [6 T( \2 v7 `6 c) N- H- K
' Z' K% S& F/ O7 h! X
在那時候我瞭解到一件事情) w# L8 K- R  l( C) g" J; o- T
就是這邊的郵寄服務是一個nightmare/ W. _" A4 T3 a  e. m1 r. J
這件事情,應該大家都有經驗吧!' ]+ v; }$ m5 \- C0 n" S. d6 n
對我來說,這是在Ft. Mcmurray最不好的經驗了!
- a  `! ?$ }, s+ c不過,話說回來,之後寄東西或是收東西,我就也習慣東西會晚到,所以也就是等!
+ ?1 L8 H( b5 k  [+ ]6 m+ r日子總是要過的嘛!天天哭也是過日子,天天笑也是在過日子。
  l+ z  d' t3 W& l/ E+ q4 m/ i所以我還是選擇天天笑的過日子好了!   z4 @$ D. R  B! C

7 r. @  \) L3 `% m! o: E0 {但是我還蠻想要問問,如果要寄東西,哪裡的服務會比較ok?

在网上购物后,隔天查电子邮件order就被取消了,因为是FM没有办法delivery。。。

Call UPS customer service and ask for compensation,  you may get some of your shipping fee back.
  o4 u! f$ ^4 m" ~2 T* F2 JLast year I ordered a set of winter tires from the US and used Fedex to ship them, it costed more than $300USD, the shipment was delayed for more than a week, so I called Fedex and complained, they explained that Fort McMurray is a "remote area" and blah blah blah. But they finally agreed to give me full refund for the shipping fee. Saved $300.:)

忐忑不安的等待着nightmare coming。。。等UPS送笔记本电脑ing" M1 M2 G9 H( P# _
+ O0 I- ?2 [( _" A1 m. H
不过上次在dell网购后,purolator的delivery还可以,没有耽误。
