The whole COMPLAIN day in FM....pay attention to each penny !!

ISSUE ONE: CRA........."WAIT"

In the early morning,phone CRA to ask "whether university health insurance charge to international student can be counted as expense ?" .THE receiver told me "WAIT,call this number:1-800-959-8281"..Then i phoned it.They took more than 10 minutes to discuss my question,said:"WAIT,this number may help:1-800-267-5177".Then i jumped to another number again.I want to confirm my new address here,they said"why not confirm from the tax center?" i said there is no contact method online(St John's).They said"WAIT"Then came back without any phone number:"it took couples of days.You may check two or three weeks later."I got shock"i mailed them last week."Still the word:"WAIT"............................& G4 V- O" x* \/ y8 p/ U8 Y' I

ISSUE TWO:FIDO.......+ N1 m- K2 t/ d; W( [

. C' J- u  E4 G1 P9 L1 q( c1 T$ XIt is a serious problem that what their customer services said are not the same.Once i moved in and needed to change a new number,they said"NO CHARGE".How ever,i was so angry that "THEY CHARGED ON MY BILL".i phoned them and they modified.MY GOD.9 u" l! _; y0 Z" X
: d9 o+ p8 m) i5 v5 ^+ _8 T0 t/ s
Still now.some customer services said:I am using Edmonton service.But some said i am using Fort Mcmurray.Actually ,before getting the BILL,they did not tell me the fact that there is NO FIDO network provided here.So there is no point that i can benefits from the unlimitted incoming here unless i pay extra fee to enter the ROGER net work.MY GOD.I WILL NEVER TRUST FIDO ANYMORE.! R* {% [4 C9 p8 t8 V- Y

ISSUE THREE:UPS

TODAY I WAIT AT HOME FROM early 9:00 am till 8:00pm for my package delivery fromUPS.However,there is no news from them.This is the reason why i cannot go to BIBIL STUDY.This is the second time i wait for the whole day.
- X5 T: U. H! I; N2 U; F! K0 |% s5 o( t) F. [' t
Last week:They phoned me and said"The service hour is 9am to 5pm."Then i waited till almost 5:15pm.Then ran to find friends upstairs,however i got a notice at 6pm when i was back.WHAT THE HELL!I phoned UPS,they said"WE OFFICIALLY WORK TILL 8pm"OK......
/ u2 k. Y8 V7 @- ?% W* s
% \& f6 g8 k0 |TODAY,i wait for the whole day and even phone them at 7pm.Let us see what their explaination:% e8 z& r( U: q
0 O7 g, p6 I! Q$ {, Q& l5 A. t
at 7pm,a customer representative said:YOUR PACKAGE HAS SCANNED AND ON THE WAY....................SO where is it????????????PLease be honest!!!!!
' e4 v' S% @8 X$ M1 M2 _' p1 N! o& h" a7 Y2 U6 v
at 8pm,i did not receive anything.They told me:SORRY.WE RESCHEDULED.BUT THEY DID NOT REPLY.I was extremely angry " i checked the package from UPS,i do not care your internal issue.UPS needs to take responsibility.I need to talk with supervisor!" They are a little more serious.EVEN IF THEY TOOK MY PHONES AND GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME ON MONDAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.i am really disappointed..................cannot wait crying.8 A% g" l  i1 y" j- C

ISSUE FOUR:BMO
, K: ~% R% }' P% o" E8 |* `) u( `! @& Z% w+ I& ~: a5 M6 t' Q
BMO is the sad ending for today.They charge me 25 dollars for my statement  balance  is more than  my credit limit on Feb.18th.I  REALLY did not know there is such a rule on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Another surprising part is ,i asked "IS 18th the specific date to check the statement balance?" He said"WAIT " and YES in couples of minutes.COOL.i learn so many things new in the whole day!!!!

I really learn so much NEW today...................
% O% C4 h$ U( a  o+ Q6 c4 K" H5 w! p8 E+ t8 O* @
HOPE EVERYone can save each penny in the dangerous society............MY GOD!

UPS and Purolator

我從Florida搬來的時候,也是用UPS。5 O5 z! K8 U+ F' y; A' I
所有UPS的良好時間規定,在這邊都不管用。
' D7 H1 T5 d5 w. E' Q因為UPS在這邊是subcontract to purolator (不知道有沒有拼錯!)
+ Y# Z0 c9 a  ~" d( o5 R9 T剛搬來的時候天天在家裡查行李狀況,等行李,結果等了幾天,也沒有人過來。所以打電話給UPS,結果UPS總說不清楚狀況。明明東西就是在Ft Mcmurray,還可以跟我講在Edmonton or其他的答案!, c$ N* h- e0 ^6 x: D# \* {
也有請UPS再遞送一次。UPS理論上就請Purolator再遞送一次!
; q( Q! d2 g$ s+ Y# e) r再等一週,結果還是沒有事情發生。剛來時,根本也不知道什麼purolator
) G" Y2 {6 x" H* }: z- l3 S後來是問了另外一家快遞公司,才知道UPS在這邊subcontract給purolator% x  e! N" t3 Z
有一天上班的時候,剛好看到purolator的卡車,就在那邊等driver問狀況: o& |! U  }) t; J
Driver說他們身上沒有電話的,所以你一定要在家等。他叫我最快的方式是自己過去他們公司拿。我有15箱東西,我自己根本搬不動。但是後來發現UPS跟本無法讓purolator再送我的東西到我家。
0 m1 S6 o" u+ {6 ~1 S4 k5 c/ X; F$ _" K2 N# P
最後我自己去他們公司搬了兩、三箱。看到很多箱子的狀況都是很慘烈,裡面的東西也是!: a' l$ I( i0 H: p' I5 i# \3 C
(箱子是跟UPS買的喔!) 然後讓同事開著公司的truck再繼續把我所有的東西搬回來。
1 n$ _9 s% k: Y- o6 F再剛來的時候發生這種事情真的是夢魘。因為想要找人幫忙也找不到人?: r0 L( q" L( m- y3 J. l
) B# [# P# N" r' p0 u& a9 ?
在那時候我瞭解到一件事情- p4 K% Z0 g. U6 _' J! n
就是這邊的郵寄服務是一個nightmare
9 f2 ^! ?, V9 Y+ D這件事情,應該大家都有經驗吧!
" G5 G: ?+ @# J0 N! }6 d. A. M對我來說,這是在Ft. Mcmurray最不好的經驗了!
, A: q& U- F* A8 g/ D不過,話說回來,之後寄東西或是收東西,我就也習慣東西會晚到,所以也就是等!" ~# s! [* S* X, M1 l5 ^" G- u
日子總是要過的嘛!天天哭也是過日子,天天笑也是在過日子。1 P! Y% N9 ^% ]
所以我還是選擇天天笑的過日子好了!

但是我還蠻想要問問,如果要寄東西,哪裡的服務會比較ok?

在网上购物后,隔天查电子邮件order就被取消了,因为是FM没有办法delivery。。。

Call UPS customer service and ask for compensation,  you may get some of your shipping fee back.
/ y- G3 V4 i: e# {# TLast year I ordered a set of winter tires from the US and used Fedex to ship them, it costed more than $300USD, the shipment was delayed for more than a week, so I called Fedex and complained, they explained that Fort McMurray is a "remote area" and blah blah blah. But they finally agreed to give me full refund for the shipping fee. Saved $300.:)

忐忑不安的等待着nightmare coming。。。等UPS送笔记本电脑ing; q1 W! S& Y1 h& m  g- B
; i3 `0 o2 l* t8 A% g3 Y
不过上次在dell网购后,purolator的delivery还可以,没有耽误。
