A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

& o a) _' `( Z- J• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1)
$ P! e7 ~8 W9 M. m" Q Q$ s' l• Standard Child Care First Aid
8 v( N. I6 ?' c0 t! _8 q; D• WHMIS) }4 b* W( j M( n* {' C+ M% a' h
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care* n& e. ` ~% ]4 v: e j F( q
• Components to improve communication skills

6 ~7 O1 L1 u3 E) sEligibility Criteria
: y; o* G+ }. Q( Z• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
& m& [1 B( L! h* c- N: Z) A4 f% ]of Canada
7 j2 B% N/ O7 ?• have a Social Insurance Number
' K/ T/ B) D# R' e9 a- p- t2 @+ _2 j• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check! {7 i- |( i T: w7 d5 u' L$ r
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
" `6 |, u$ s! P: i0 q1 [5 ^• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet" J& n; ~2 [/ D- }
the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
