Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
+ A) [4 v) ?9 {1 ?- s& F) e- Recruit children for summer program
- D+ P% l2 j+ T2 R4 q- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- u4 e6 y8 B# R9 z; w8 c  K3 `- Supervise volunteer(s)
/ G7 K/ u" X) ~2 p1 p- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
# L! G/ C8 ~' |. K$ ^  x+ Z
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
" j0 i3 l3 j' \" A9 B- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
% g1 I$ P; r8 o9 y/ r0 r8 q- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
5 @6 E; q. H5 K* W- leadership abilities
5 @+ `& G: n1 |( _. n& z- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
