Job Description
. ^4 C: Z' A3 S! C5 ?Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

7 [7 ~1 E) S! }2 y2 K- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
5 F# t& p8 b" A  H# L- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
3 K; u, d' F! Z' R: j8 y- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
$ k' [" u* G2 E' S# \- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
