supercharge uses engine's partial power to drive the compressor, not like a turbo charge uses exhaust (waste) air to drive the air into the chamber.

This is the reason supercharge is not as efficicent as turbo charge, however, Turbo charge has lag time due to the low rpm has limited power to spin the turbin, only rpm is high enough the turbin works well ....6 N/ P) `2 j0 ^
