) f  @/ a# D+ w. {% e    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
) S3 H8 L1 M" D/ g8 G  k    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
+ n$ d- E5 Q6 V/ U    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
% ~5 k9 W. \. y  J8 L0 l* B% Y本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
8 k$ V  k' ?" n0 N1 L1 \5 Y& q5 LSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
