Duties
- Y9 X" l, n) }6 p
    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
, z; x) [9 I: K+ [$ T    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
$ Q5 P- ]. z$ P$ v+ C4 F    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

Qualifications

    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
* i0 u, u; k) ?7 ^本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。
+ k1 b% \' o* ?$ a& B" x/ y

. _! _5 ]) ^, N/ I好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

( h$ F8 X6 I0 X  rSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
0 }( O% K) Y7 c1 ]" E# Cwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
