Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

provide services for Chinese community) J# S; |) S* ]# T, m4 M
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
* C) I1 j, ]+ \ access to mainstream services
6 R7 S4 O: J) ?+ l+ [% z- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
8 k. e+ r- [' U- q( R- \9 v social services
3 D5 Y! [1 I5 ?9 U4 q- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies- j3 i0 _" u; c# b% o; l/ O
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
4 e6 J" B, k9 v5 ?; \4 M3 {. n- update ASSIST website

Qualifications% {8 N4 b( [! b+ B3 c5 J3 ^ g' t
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of : |: n2 v8 w v8 \0 T
experience and education
2 s/ j/ s' n" H4 U- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
m( Q8 @( j; e; \- ]' c- experience in community work and immigrant services# E+ G, @! m; V7 J
- experience in website update/design% t2 Z- Y+ d! E2 ^# J
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
; m6 v/ J! Z4 W; r4 O/ Z9 z! U* _5 Y/ s. p* y' ^
