3 m& z3 |2 m4 o( o7 C9 }Edmonton ALPHA is a chapter of Canada ALPHA (Association for Learning and Preserving the History of WWII in Asia), a cross-Canada group of volunteer teachers, scholars and other interested people who share two common goals: (1) to seek a formal apology from the Government of Japan to those who were the victims of its aggression during WWII, and (2) to foster genuine and long-lasting reconciliation between Japan and its Asian neighbours.

Beginning in 2004, Canada ALPHA has helped sponsor Canadian teacher participation on study tours to China and Korea. During such study tours, teachers meet with scholars, lawyers, museum curators and--most importantly--survivors of Imperial Japan's atrocities.
