Responsibilities:
- J/ Z* V$ \! G0 U+ R0 a- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
2 \! d. @0 H% {# ]9 u; C- Recruit children for summer program
5 d) R/ [5 ^0 w2 b1 n3 K) Q+ p- Provide orientation for parents
1 q' K+ x0 U% e9 e! r6 v* `  O. g- Find sponsors to enhance program
- `1 l0 {* a0 E- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

/ q' }/ b0 m4 ?- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
6 g) }$ y" s8 p  S- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
" V2 F% C1 U( F$ L- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
# [4 t* k( H0 z! x7 ]- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
