Job Description
7 T4 A9 L  u( sSummer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
" T5 e+ D9 W2 ~" H- Organize focus group(s)
2 q3 @3 K# x" W* W$ i" N- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program

- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
( k* `1 S. U" K4 O0 |) m
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
0 I4 ^( V$ i5 s% g+ }0 S: Q- communication skills
' B4 ^; Q  M) ^- f* Y. ^9 m- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* M8 x. o8 |/ Z$ s2 w- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
2 c$ B7 ~+ l& o* O6 w  S- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
