Housing Program Worker

5 i. l+ ^- `1 A3 a% sKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
! M1 Y# _4 v( U) N' e2 @ To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
* A8 \( x" F! @ To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
# g0 ]; `& C1 y3 A+ B; O" ^ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
7 u2 m1 f/ L& v+ l5 I To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance

Hourly salary range is $8 to $10/hour
