Housing Program Worker

( t- T1 |' i. J* h: b% }3 IKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
. d" Y; n7 @6 U- t. m% f/ z6 H To help promote the program in the community.
6 n6 @3 F0 s7 T( y7 k9 @# A To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
* w( i0 ~7 t" a* I/ p! X To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
7 q  [& j8 D- L5 V' n To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
( W* p/ _2 }+ m1 P To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

# ~/ r( C0 U  E' p8 T& H4 \. _0 R2 UQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
$ W! f2 v0 V1 W" `. U& m Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
" F* v% x% P, B) L! t8 }5 ] Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
