Housing Program Worker

- J3 r. w+ d5 J6 j; HKey Responsibilities:
, |4 K2 p2 c6 m( Z To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
7 g$ {' r+ V& l0 g& f To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
, |  N1 w! C# q6 [ To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
3 G( v! g, L+ r% z. m3 p To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
9 {6 q( F& l  M& U" o To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
+ ]/ y8 N! ^6 u( M" x To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
/ C$ f: Z; P0 d2 U2 x Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
2 T! a/ t3 K8 n! ~4 `% O Current CPR and First Aid certifications
1 H; ?3 V! ^" p/ P- | Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance

Hourly salary range is $8 to $10/hour
