The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.8 [' V f$ d: H7 D
: y: c3 [9 J! M) z+ H vThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities + u7 f& f. V: p, [% c
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
$ Y+ c+ `9 P: v! `) f• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities7 Z5 Y+ l& f9 b' y
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
& q9 L" M1 @1 N5 J" _4 Z* H• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program * ^: q7 @" i5 H# M- E
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes6 A* O7 Y. [4 n, m+ m2 K% E
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
/ t6 T+ t4 j: c• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication1 O' l6 v! q, [+ u: a4 ]. V
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
) v5 I/ f8 K2 q/ t, R% V+ i7 ]• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department* [) x* ]- S' ?: ~
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program# v+ S& _4 n: R, ~
• Implement service modification, as required$ g" s7 I0 F* h+ C5 P" e" W: m u/ }3 W

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director& v: {$ |* } e: H; i9 z
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
/ R- g4 T" O3 j+ p/ n0 K• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:" j2 H, V3 h& N+ T ]+ R7 @
, I: k1 d3 a; a# z/ P0 q6 E; W• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
2 q/ u% q! j* O% F6 C• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
8 E, v9 r f: d! y( `9 Y• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience9 ^5 ~! y' @: `
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations5 }+ u9 N3 Q; V1 k! v
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
9 V- D z9 b8 ^: z% `• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
