The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

; a! n8 S* E( ]4 t8 h8 LThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
, m9 M& h9 c; n9 a$ S• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
! I& W6 X1 |$ M• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors * _5 Q3 K* b1 J+ X. X" T) A
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities- k" A) a( w7 A% s
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
. I0 p( R- Z& N' ^/ ]' t* a• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities3 \# _$ {* _; Z. g1 e; u7 I

- I8 r/ ]" |4 s: E& E• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
1 b7 T6 H7 p! D% G0 w• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes% g6 Q" B$ s% |9 ~& U/ t4 D: W# S
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required/ f* x+ A! ]$ c3 m' R! N
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication* G/ B) o% S& \$ ?5 p: n- e- k
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested; M1 F, b/ w- |% d
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department; r" j+ \5 o) x- [
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director7 M; S0 E0 q g: Y1 P; p; l
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

) s- j/ ?& i8 D! ^$ g' N; UQualifications:
, E" u5 w* C+ _+ M$ ?* c0 c7 e
* J; B9 G% b: e* O5 o/ K• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
! s: y2 _ U0 c7 y2 i5 y7 ~) k• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
) l5 `+ P" y1 I* B• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
. _' S* J- R- S% g& _• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
" b' Z% C# {, ^9 h8 h• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population& F$ A; t% I+ h# H! Y
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
