The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

3 f9 u' {5 [6 }; K& y9 J. r+ ^Job Duties/Responsibilities:) A0 d/ _! a  C' ]6 I: w) y- q
•        Human Resources Management9 {! r2 s9 l# k* ?6 Q( f- `
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ) e! V9 U" l  ?- Z/ t
•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
9 C: J1 K9 B# k6 F7 r+ \•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: G8 P3 J+ m* ~/ _. d
•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services% A8 }1 U# S& R
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
$ U: m  O! ?; q3 K+ I  u•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes+ m# A; K+ F& r5 ^! ^
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
: A- m% x3 q% {, `: h•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
) O) C+ W$ v* j' y•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested  }% ]  M! g$ u/ A) m4 Z
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department! X! W% W+ B2 h3 V4 g
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program
5 `/ W0 Z  Z, D$ K: G2 G•        Implement service modification, as required, }4 B1 K( n* }0 G. z

. X# }& ^$ w, p- q+ D+ M( @( q•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
7 I5 }% v" S8 l1 ~1 u2 k) W. O•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
8 h! a: C9 X% R( g5 t; X•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required
% ]' f7 k( e' R- x4 e7 X

•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field8 ^; w5 U2 }3 V9 z& k/ r  |4 B5 W" d5 w: Q
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities9 C" T( q) _' ?$ m9 w1 N' h
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience1 i& H& f; t; O
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations" u# h3 ~. b0 W* l: K! E3 t/ u
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
+ z) I# J  \% e- w* N8 S•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office0 v' y- o& F1 l: D3 `: L5 @1 [
