听说互联网上可以查到一种通过遥控器给DVD机解除区域限制码的方法，这样我们在北美买的DVD机就可以成为全球制式的通用机了。

据说Sony DVP NS-400D是最难hack的一种。不过我找到了一个办法。先声明：我不确定这个办法是否有效。我也不能为这个办法导致的一切后果负责。你必须自己决定是否尝试这个办法，并自负其责。

3)Type and hold Magic Key until two blinks then type 994
4)type Magic key

6)repeat steps 3 and 4

Your plauer in standby mode use the One for all remote
Type keys 1 2 3 4 5 in sequence
% V; [- p- k0 MPlayer displays SUCCESS in the blue display and the player comes on
Type keys 1 2 3 4 5 in sequence and the player goes off.
6 t, L9 z( r6 T0 ^( A7 fUnplug the AC power for 5 seconds
Now your player is region free.
