Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- S' t/ C' d" f- T" I1 d1 M2 [- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
8 v( L6 A8 \0 L: ^* P- Find sponsors to enhance program
9 E5 s. G  K+ D- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
% j) q7 r8 }1 G! \  T. S# w- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ q; m# g0 H8 v/ y6 y- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
/ P0 [9 M( ^; H8 z. o- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
