Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
7 E) f0 T. A9 R" S To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
& w" d# s8 \6 V9 D To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
' B9 V% A- k( M) K! [0 A! Z! P To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
9 K( U0 `8 ]1 {% b6 w0 T To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
$ K# h! @' C7 {  B4 Z! j' ^ 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
; b& |$ y5 G. q; c5 Y Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
