Housing Program Worker
  ^1 u- O% V* B) w( c
Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
3 K: e, X. B* u" N% G, p To help promote the program in the community.
. F( M6 B; s+ n To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
: H- i5 r1 a; \! \: I To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
9 }" R+ J( r( f- M3 J" ^$ [% E To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
: D+ S! H5 J4 S! B2 C To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

" b9 b! k) g. v* ?- gQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
+ v* {  M+ y# o; c5 d$ t* x 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
2 C" Y% L% D& i" y2 c Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
) q; e2 S( z* _; ]! i2 u Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
