Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
  s! i* ]% x  }/ o4 m4 G; g To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
, a, ~1 t8 e/ r- p8 m9 B3 c To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
- o) x" Y5 s  Z' M  u To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
; K7 v7 w5 G- {/ ?: q6 ?0 [; ? To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

& u, V7 @6 t; l: XQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
; C: j* T9 ~. r& S* R4 ] Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
) f$ [5 Y+ [# N$ r& n Current CPR and First Aid certifications
) R0 I5 x: T* J4 C Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
