Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
9 x5 e" t9 i$ X3 K& W  Y/ t
$ y& p8 [/ Q0 j+ l! h3 gControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)

$ l  Z# S: @$ {A "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

I am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

xp应该有很多中文输入键盘格式可以选，你选的哪一种?

你是用XP吗？想想当初你装OS时候是否将支持东方语言的软件包同时安装上呢？
