Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:

2 w0 W% @9 `& U2 H) x" dControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)

' O: n7 I( k6 ?  v+ s- }% k! _A "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

9 f! i  p/ l1 f4 V) x! FI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

I think so, i can see i have two keyboard inputs now, but the problem is that i can not shift to Chinese when i press Alt-Shift
