Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
* g" e/ e4 R9 _* {Responsibilities:
9 I3 J5 l' O; {3 k* a- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
$ k: T3 g/ N3 d0 _, F  Q- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- J+ U) N; l" ~! F- S- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
# I$ l8 c( ?7 U7 c, Q3 D- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
; w2 Q% V2 [4 n0 R! c- good computer skills
7 L7 J# o8 G. j2 o2 S3 s- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
