Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
& V( f- x0 o% OResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
* ?! Q9 f! X) R& U  F, r- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
: G' _: ?! |' D/ d# o- Recruit children for summer program
; t- F8 q3 f" }0 F; r- Provide orientation for parents
4 W4 x. Q  M+ r: O/ e+ {/ ~- Find sponsors to enhance program
1 G% v3 U, S4 ?( z- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
" G) |( p- [: z8 p- [# Z8 {2 E
3 H( |; t/ ~5 q; Z) ~3 C7 q- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
