Performing product upgrade activities in the Production environment
Participating in data migration and conversion initiatives
( B( R/ l) D  p0 L# fPerforming changes to software configurations as requested by the customer
Performing  the analysis, design, development and review of production  scripts (datafixes, queries; ad hoc and production batch jobs - extract and update)
+ I, C) r# B8 ZTroubleshooting production issues
Participating in the development and documentation of standards and procedures for work performed by the Application Support team
' r) a$ p- v9 s. n6 [$ q7 z6 l6 WMaintaining information required to support products after implementation (e.g., changes to customer contact information, changes to authorized approvers, etc.)
Providing technical and work management of 1 – 2 analysts on small projects
Providing application and environment training to other SSD Operations employees, primarily other Application Support Analysts and Customer Support Specialists
- N; }# Z# I. v% MDeveloping tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Application Support team.

General:
Diploma or certificate in the Computer Systems field plus 4 or more years of practical experience in application support and/or software development
Experience using standard development and/or enhancement methodologies
Detail-oriented, strong analytical ability, exceptional trouble-shooting skills
Strong organizational skills; must be able to juggle a number of complex tasks at once
  p; Z: ~3 W, p' PStrong communication skills, both written and verbal as incumbent will be gathering requirements and presenting solutions to clients, both internal and external to SSD.

Required:
  G$ t5 N2 q, L, s7 Q: mExperience supporting applications in a UNIX/ORACLE environment
# v  H. w$ `) G1 N" mDemonstrated experience with UNIX shell scripting and SQL/PL-SQL
Experience implementing, maintaining and supporting automated (cron) jobs in a UNIX environment
6 z6 C6 p4 E8 t6 t. f, C2 n) vStrong SQL skills

Experience supporting applications that use:
