4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

' E. e k5 N/ S4 u& ]& R9 f# WKey Responsibilities Include:
* V1 g% w( P8 h2 J& I5 F* AActivity Planning and Daily Activity
# C# o# l9 F: Z- D3 c• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
+ P+ i* G. _* O3 U3 ~• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 4 u% S4 a. S# Q) H3 A
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
, n0 w- `7 B: a& v7 V0 [• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
) s# C) ^9 E5 P) J. R& m• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
% Q: U, s+ D+ h, m# l- N• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.4 U# J$ t& F( L" m% N4 U

The successful candidate will have:
4 O, h8 A; h! A+ ~- ^+ h• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
1 n: k `2 s; h1 v% Q• Experience with children) N5 Y! S8 d$ \- m# Y
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
* g4 S" \' r( A, r• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.3 W V: W7 f# Y3 p
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
7 `6 ^# ]: \' S+ G• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
: A+ ]( e5 i. U- L• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check ) b( E% p4 n; i+ J: c1 D, ]: S
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check & i8 B8 z# }* F* q. \- z

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
