Key Responsibilities Include:
3 R) J# Z% R& O. d% c6 z+ s RActivity Planning and Daily Activity m8 ]5 A+ r' |7 K% i! N+ }. g
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.% T' U- J6 c" E. d5 x! t& `
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
- u o+ M) O) x5 C• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
% t/ `. u- ]0 x- @• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.; K1 r1 m1 A( k- ^. B" ?9 d, m
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
* W% O, G6 y1 M) E• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

2 o! @2 i2 ^" bThe successful candidate will have:
* X# X9 C* x( m1 m• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting3 K* D% b5 ^ {9 \ V, J/ l3 S: E
• Experience with children3 C( b- w& c% d- S7 q4 Q
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
4 |6 ~! p/ A+ ^ j2 [, X6 v j• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
; a4 s+ T {* Z' ?. k• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.; \$ Q; r' P8 H/ \
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
# Y, Q6 ~9 O% G* G$ x• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
6 F3 v7 u: w% U7 a/ |• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check 2 r; E8 M( E% k0 N

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
