A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Reception

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers2 A8 l$ X6 [# B5 Z

Administration
1 q4 |8 `3 A1 J0 C• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail. E [( ]% I. ]5 J: q" A
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
# v% V/ y8 z5 Q, j• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency * C+ y7 B* z' f8 [' U8 \
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration$ G4 k4 g, t& p2 U0 v
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers " f1 _- `) p" i F2 N
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution6 {3 d3 o) Y: m- A& C @( g
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

Registrar

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
* S4 z9 D$ a6 e2 o• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Y8 D( M8 l* `' I& V+ A& w• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset

• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
