EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

& n8 B! F8 S4 q- ~Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.* x1 D/ h& t& @* j
