Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
9 y2 I! w* L' E& R6 o/ l6 b• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
  t- C4 j. f! G/ f' x• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
7 u& Y9 x1 {) m' \$ S, K• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
' D: K2 q2 O6 z0 S' K• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
( M! j" N2 O9 T  F" F; B) A6 L. t( I• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
) u$ M4 R7 P) P( m• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
# W; o) o) o% t3 t3 }3 R• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
) W2 w7 F- P, c/ D4 ^• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
