Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
( z( N' c% W4 a) w7 T• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
7 |1 y$ c* \6 V• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

4 X  V2 p( H* y• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
) U8 j& e" I; U. n. E1 V$ r, G: S• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

: P0 X0 }( X! K6 o# ^• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
: ^; ~* E. D1 R+ p: U- P- @• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
; l6 B0 ^% P, N. n• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
) `# P+ |  E9 y+ N7 V• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
$ H. n( M0 y: \. a: z• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
