I purchased a 4 pack of these Contigo cups for my 4 year old daughter. We LOVE them. She's exited about them because they look like a big kid travel mug but I'm happy because they act as a sippy cup in that they do not spill and they also are a little larger than the usual sippy cup and so I can use them in the car/travel/backpack and when she's drinking on the couch and not worry about any leaks. The best part is there are no removable valves, no more replacing those annoying plastic valves anymore! Hurray for a great product that makes life easier ! I recommend them and they say they are for 4 and up but I think a 3 year old can use these also with no problem they just press to drink/when they release the button the cup seals itself! Awesome! Very grown up looking and nice colors. We got pink/purple but they also have blue and some other darker colors. ps they are a plastic that is BPA free which is wonderful too! My daughter is in kindergarten and doesn't do so well with the straw cups or the stainless steel water bottles (both of which have leaked in the past). Not only have these never leaked on us, but the button makes it easy for my little 5-year old to press with both hands and easily drink before having the button pop right back into place, without having to worry about screwing a lid back on or making sure the straw is snapped back fully in place so it won't leak. I have a coffee mug by Contigo that works the same way and I love it! I also love that these cups are easy to hand-wash and don't have a separate valve or straw to wash and keep track of. I bought these to make my own "juice boxes" since I felt guilty about the waste from buying juice boxes. These have never leaked, regardless of what I've done with them. I have had these upside down and sideways and they have never leaked. They seem well made, button is nice and smooth to the touch. |
